What the Clouds See

A woman walks slowly down the street
She is beautiful, shy and quiet
A man walks quickly down the street
He is handsome, bold and loud
And when the clock strikes 1:00pm
The beautiful woman looks up
The handsome man looks up
Time ceases at this moment
No sounds are heard nor no movements
Her blue eyes meet his brown
And the clouds knew that love was found
He brought her blooming flowers
She brought him sweet kisses
He showed her trust
She showed him love
They held hands on every corner
They gazed at each other with every moment
He says, “I love you my beautiful woman”
She says, “I love you my handsome man”
Nothing could stop this love that two have found
Not even time could slow them down
Many years now have come and gone
She loves him and he loves her
Gray hairs and soft wrinkles began to show
But their hands stay locked together
